The International Society of Neuropathology and the British Neuropathological Society were delighted to welcome an international gathering of delegates at the XIVth International Congress of Neuropathology in Birmingham. A major purpose of the International Society of Neuropathology is to foster research and investigation of neurological diseases, so many of which are medically and economically important but are currently refractory to treatment.
It was a pleasure to meet with the many participants who joined us in Birmingham between 3-6 September 2000 for what was a stimulating and enjoyable Congress of Neuropathology.
